Module 1: Baking The World A Better Place
When one envisions baking, stereotypically, an elderly woman in a flour-clad apron often comes to mind. Why not stray away from the clichés, and obtain valuable baking insight from someone vastly disparate from the norm. Whom might act as a beacon of refreshingly honest wit with an idiosyncratic perspective? Pleased to introduce myself, I am Ms. Ava Elise! Get ready to break out the whisks and bowls, my protégés. I am not afraid to stir the pot both in and out of the kitchen. Bon appetit!
Hi Ava!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually super excited to see your posts about baking. I just started cooking more, as opposed to ordering out, and it'll be cool to maybe see some secret recipes you might able to share with the class! I will say, I've been on a ketogenic diet as of late, and the hardest thing involving low carb diets is the absence of sugary treats 99% of the time. This is a struggle for me because I have a massive sweet tooth. I already lack the basic baking skills to cook a regular dessert dish, let alone a keto friendly low card sweet treat. Maybe at some point you can tackle some healthier dessert recipes in the future. It'd be nice to learn about healthier treats that won't break the diet!

DeleteHi Ms. Ava!
DeleteThis is a very well written piece that screams passion! You were precise with your words and didn’t mess about. I can already see your vision and I am ready for the ride!
I do think you have a very refreshing take on baking and I love the idea of redefining the social norms of cooking. You would make a great character for a food documentary, let’s do it!
I love that you are not afraid to stir the pot and I look forward to more of your work.

I am so excited to continue reading your blog - I am a baker at heart and would bake probably two/three times a week for my roommates at school!
ReplyDeleteI think you have a great vision for your blog and I can’t wait to see it unfold.
